The Tales of the not-so-extreme couponer:
This blog was designed for me to keep track of all of my savings, deals, and bargains I took part in. I fully expect that I will be my own biggest fan on here. (I will write in third person in case someone happens upon it and wonders why I'm talking to myself.)
I grew up in a household where we lived comfortably. I was taught at a very young age the value of a dollar and how to get the most out of that dollar. That doesn't mean I only bought my clothes at thrift stores and recycled things like plastic ziplock bags, okay? I'm not a hippie. It meant shopping around first before making that big purchase or checking out the clearance rack before heading over to the new arrivals section. :)
I recently got into coupon clipping. It's actually quite fun! No, I don't do it for a living and no I won't go out of my way to clip 100 coupons for the same item just so I can clean out the shelves at the store. I don't believe in that at all. That's just rude and greedy. I do like taking advantage of savings but I can do without 200 bottles of vitamin water in my pantry. Sorry if I offended someone who loves vitamin water.
